Well, they don't "file a judgment" - they file a lawsuit against you. If they win, they get a judgment - which means the court says you have to pay them, and if they can garnish your pay or seize your bank account, they send the proper documents to your employer, or you bank and then they just take your money. However, I can't recall the details, although this rings a bell. When did you first become delinquent with Discover, and what state are you in? Linda
