Need your help again. I was talking with you on here about getting the loan for the motorcycle with 2 chargeoffs and decided to pay them first then get the loan for the bike. One of them called today and I was talking with them about possible payment arrangements and found out that the CA is not collecting for Norwest financial but they now OWN the debt. Should I pay them? They haven't added anything to my credit reports and I don't want them to. If I did pay them how does this show up on my CR's? Do they tell the original creditor to show it as a paid chargeoff or do they add their own info stating the debt was paid off in full? I am not sure what to do now. I don't want to have 2 negative things showing for the one account (one from original creditor and one from CA) What should I do? I obviously don't want any chance of a lein being put on the new bike when I get it so I do want to take care of this but I just want to make sure I am not going to screw myself more by paying it. It would be FULL payment not a settlement by the way. So what do you think?
