For 3 years now I have had an ongoing problem with Providian Financial.Through bad advice from an attorney who advised me it would be less expensive to pay the bill than to pursue the matter,I settled the debt and paid it in full.I have the letter of settlement,but it is still on my credit report which I understand they can do, but there is no report where I paid it in full. Also I am being harassed by a debt collector for a bill the bill which has been paid and that I have repeatedly faxed them the Debt in Full letter.Anyone have any ideas?
