Hi, I have stopped making payments on my debts. I owe over $7000. To most people this is not a lot of debt, to me it's huge. Making the minimum payments takes over half of my $760 a month Social Security Disability income. My doctors told me I would be dead by 1998 and guess what? They were wrong! I'm happy to be alive, but can't continue making payments. Should I file for bankruptcy? Does anybody know if bill collectors can garnish Social Security Disability payments? Thanks Jeff
