Your ss disability checks are exempt from garnishment, your bank account is exempt from judgment IF your bank has been notified that your deposits are from ssdi. What State are you in? Are you delinquent (past due) on the accounts now? If so,when did they first get behind. Bankruptcy may not be neccessary,you may be in a situation where you are either beyone the time limit for being sued, or you may be "judgment proof".
