I am sorry to tell you, you will have to wait it out. Once the car is paid for,(probably by you) it will be easier to get it deleted from your report. You will still have to get an agreement from the loan company to NOT verify when you dispute it off,try to get it in writing from them.This is another example of why people should check their reports BEFORE any major purchase.Also, if you are going to co-sign,make sure you have the lender contact you immediately if a payment is late.
