Thanks for the reply...so if a credit card co (actually a Collection Agency, as the original company sold the debt long ago) referred an account with the last date of activity
as shown on my credit report as 6/96 to an atty in the state where I live now (debt occurred in Colorado), I would need to ask for verification...would I wait until they filed suit to point out about the SOL, or would I point it out in my verification letter? Thanks for your help!
