California has some pretty good consumer protection laws, even though it is a community property State. Is the debt in your name alone? or jointly with your spouse? What is the "come-off" date of this account on your Experian credit report?Have there been any serious illnesses in your immediate family?Job lay-offs due to bankruptcy/and/or failure of a employer?Is this a regular credit card account ? or is it a business account?
