The SOL "defense" is just that- a DEFENSE,you must appear with proof of your having no reason for the SOL not to apply. Bring whatever credit report copies you have, letters stating you are "past due" etc. The SOL in most States goes by the UCC which says that the "cause of action" (beginning date) starts with the first time you were delinquent (30 days late) unless you "caught up"as with CCC arrangements.Cavalry has had numerous lawsuits and complaints against it, you should consider filing a countersuit for violation of the FDCPA, bringing a court action without merit.
