wouldn't it? I mean---"yes we the big bad creditor agree to accept this payment as full payment and agree to remove all negative information from your credit report---(but --hee hee-we will still hire someone to collect the rest!") How could that stand up in court?????

Also, I may owe taxes? Interesting. How would that even come to the notice of the IRS etc.? I mean I gotta tell you--most people like me are "purty darn stoopid aboout these thar tacks laws" :)

However, I do respect and will seriously think about using an attorney. I understand it may be best. I am just not convinced right now that that is necessary.
