If it has been passed 30 days i would send them a a C & D letter as everyone says it is a paper trail so if they try to come after you you got ammo back on them......I am FAR from an expert on CA's heck i am still learning but in the year i have been reading this board I have learned alot and i have quit being scared and started fighting back... RMA arent easy ppl they are rude and inconciderate... this is the 2nd time i have gone after them and they havent been able to validate my dispute......the first one was dropped and it was for a 15,000 repo but they had nothing but a print out to prove it was mine.......

Anyway others may have better advice for you but i would use a letter like this remember ti send it certified with return receipt for your protection.....

"Thank you for receiving this notice. You have failed to answer my request to validate your claim of debt against me. Pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, I request that you cease further communications with me.
I have documented my correspondence with you, and I will file complaints with the appropriate authorities if you do not remove this item from my credit report and cease all communications with me. Further, if I find this entry on my credit report later interferes with my ability to obtain credit with favorable terms, I will bring suit against your company and the original creditor for applicable damages, as well as for statutory penalties provided under the FDCPA and FCRA.

This will serve as your legal notice under provisions of federal law, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), to cease all communication with me in regard to the debt referenced above. If you fail to heed this notice, I will file a formal complaint against you with the Federal Trade Commission who is responsible for enforcement, and my state's Attorney General office.

You are also notified that should any adverse information be placed against my/our credit reports as a result of this notice that appropriate actions will be taken. Give this very important matter the attention it deserves.

Sincerely,
(Print name)"
