Keep a perfect payment history (of course), balance to limit ratio can affect your scoe, so take total balance and divide by total limits shown, it should be a fairly low number like .25
Capital One has a nasty habit of not reporting your actual limit, so that sometimes you look like you are over limit - check and see if that's the case.

Also, what is the status code on the cap one that was reaffirmed? That could be a negative. There are codes all in your report that are picked up by socring software. The other thing is inquiries - with a short credit history and some negatives, an inquiry can cost you big points.

There is a good book on here about how to rebuild,
http://www.cardreport.com/books/credit-books.html

It's "Guaranteed Credit" I know several people who used the techniques in this book to rebuild their credit successfully.
