If you have a bankruptcy (or a judgment) the underlying debts still appear on your credit report. You should dispute any discrepancies. For instance the one that has the dates wrong. When disputing such accounts give the correct figures and/or dates. In some cases, on both bankruptcies and judgments, an underlying debt will be reporting interest and activity dates AFTER the filing date. These should be disputed, as it will mean they may stay on after the BK or judgment has dropped off, plus they will be a source for the scavenger ca's.
