If the company has closed it doors, there is a possiblity if you dispute the item will drop of because they will not be able to respond to the 30 day window. If you are the type of person that is very uncomfortable with a 30 day late, and in your case the company no longer exists, go ahead and dispute. I've disputed negative items of closed establishments and 100% of time (in my case) they dropped off.
