Well, I got a reply from the CA on Saturday saying they have requested the following adjustment to my credit report: ACCOUNT HAS BEEN SETTLED However, I had asked for it to be deleted entirely due to their own negligence and for sending "misleading" correspondence. What should my next course of action be? Complaint to the FTC? Another request to delete? I'm afraid if I dispute it with the CRA's it will come back as verified since that listing was updated recently.
