Running your personal credit report from the CRA's does not affect your credit score. The only caveat you have to watch for is Equifax. If you access your credit too much online they might shut you down because of their questionable HTML page limit; therefore you will have order via snail mail if this happens. I don't believe I ever heard of anyone, personally, hitting this threshold. I believe that the 3 in 1 credit reports (TrueCredit and Consumerinfo) are also exempt and does not affect your credit score.
Maybe someone can verify this one for me.

BTW, Equifax has an unlimited access option for sixty something dollars. What I normally do to monitor my Equifax credit report, just for deletes/adds, is to use my confirmation number and go to start an investigation. This gives me a delete/add status purview on what is happening. I never start an investigation using this backdoor, only for viewing.

GOOD LUCK!
