The debt is from a credit card I had in college,
6 years ago. It is the only outstanding credit
card debt I have. I defaulted approximately 5 years ago, and it
does show up on my credit report. I believe they may have gotten my address
from the student loan company that I have just
entered into a payment agreement with. I will call the clerks office firs tthing tomorrow,
and I am taking the money out of my account
first thing, just to be safe. I will let you know
what they say. Also- the company I am working for is closing
its doors on the 14th of June, so I am soon to
be unemployed as well. It hasn't been a very good day for me. Thank you so much for the advice! -David
