"fighting the system"

I have a credit collection agency verifying my responsiblity for medical bills that I did not sign for. It was services rendered for my daughter (lives with ex wife 300 miles away). I was not consulted for these charges nor ever approved of them. Better yet, the hospital failed to file insurance claims and it is too late to do such.

I don't mind paying my half of responsibility afer insurance deduction but the hospital wants to hold me fully responsible and has turned over the debt to a collection agency.

The collection agency won't respond with written documentation showing I accepted/signed for the services and they keep validating it. I have not claimed any acceptance of responsibility with them.

I have disputed with the CRA (which happens to be CSC) but all they say is that it's verified. They also summarized my statement letter from a paragraph to "consumer claims not his".

Ugh!
