HELP ! NEW YORK JUDGEMENT MISTAKE

I was served papers from a hospital to pay $40,000 or go to judgement.They reduced it to $13,000 due to my income with paymnts of $ 50.00 a month. I have been paying on time for the last 5 months.I just recieved the judgement enforced for the $ 40.000 because they say they didnt get a document I sent signed saying I agree to the terms, yet they have been cashing my checks every month. I have been trying disput it with the assistant attourny general but they say the judgement stands. This is clearly a mistake, I have responded to all their letters from day one. How can do do this? I have a flawless credit report and would like to know how this will effect and what if anything I can do.Feel free to email me: katlyn7213@aol.com
