Do you have documents substantiating the charge-off in 1995 (i.e. CR)? After 7 years they cannot legally report the debt to CRA - but these lowlifes will always try to re-age the debt. Yes, send a cease & desist letter - registered return receipt mail to document proof of receipt. And do not talk to any ca on the phone - everything by written correspondence. Make no agreements, provide no personal information - don't give them anything.
