first of all I have sent validation letters to a few collection agencys, in your recent posts you have stated to do that. now your saying to send a cease and desist if I dont want them to call, this was the first call I have received of this nature. further more I am smart enough not to send a validation letter to any original creditor as it would not do a bit of good.if a collector is going to quote the fdcpa dont you think he needs to get it right. if the collector would have left a name of a company gee i guess I would have known which one it was. the collector said he was not going to validate the debt at all. believe me if I thought I was going to be chastized I would not have asked for advice.
