I do not intend to chastise or even criticize, but what in the world can anyone tell you on this subject that would accomplish anything that you want? You don't know who called, you don't have any idea which of the "bunch" it might be, and you have no way of finding out. Even if this "moron" decided to call back and leave you the name address of the CA and HIS name, there is nothing illegal about his stupidity and ignorance of the law. He is probably a minimum wage kid working part time to put himself through school, (most of the ca's hire on the cheap with co-op student programs) What could you do? get him fired? This won't accomplish anything you want.Try to be more businesslike in dealing with your credit clean-up efforts,don't mistake the mouthing off of a low level telephone guy with anything relevant to your situation. NOW, if you HAD sent A cease and desist and validation/dispute letter to A SINGLE CA, and someone had called, even the "moron", I would be the FIRST to tell you how to nail the CA.
