I had several charge offs on my reports that I disputed as not mine. They all came back as verified. I had joint accounts on 2 of them which I never signed any agreements for. One of the accounts has gone to CC. I have called them and told them it is not my account. They did verify that my SSN# was not listed on the account. Now I have recieved a letter addressed to the other name on the account but to my address. Originally they listed both of our names on their letters. When I call them, they say they cannot discuss the account with me since I am not listed on the account, but they continue to report it on my CR. Just recently I noticed that the account balance is now listed as 0. What gives? Linda, or Why Chat can you give me any advice? Thanks in advance!
