If you have already closed on your home, and the title company and/or mortgage company didn't find it on record, then it is unlikely it is still "active". If you purchased a home without any such search, then you need to do an on line search for any recorded judgments in your County,or State. If you have changed States, you need to do a search in your prior State. If you E-mail me your present State, the State where a judgment might be filed, I will advise you as to the periods of time for a judgment lien to be enforced, and if there is homestead exemption in your State.(I don't want any personal info. just the States and dates of filing) I assume it still shows on your credit reports?
