Interesting thread. I have a couple of contacts in the credit card industry and they tell me they have no doubt that this issue will end up in Federal Court. They also believe they can win. They are basing a lot of there arguments on the arbitration agreements that employees of brokerage firms and, there cutomers must sign. These have been in existence for nearly 20 years and the legality has been upheld repeatedly by the courts.
