I will check with a consumer lawyer this week. I understand what you mean about them counting on people not wanting to pursue this, but I guess I'm afraid to get into a protracted legal battle. It's not like I have any money to spare. I mean the fact is they could simply take me to MD state court and get a judgment, so the end result would be the same. On the other hand, this could be a big deal in terms of protecting consumer rights so maybe I should attempt to fight it. I guess a lot will depend on what the lawyer says. I've got a few from the NACA site that are in MD.
