The only searches that would be available anywhere,internet,or at the Courthouse, would be cases that have actually had a judgment recorded.
Once you are served, you will have a case # on your papers. If you call your County courthouse, and speak to the clerks office, you may be able to find out if there is anything filed, but not yet served, but I doubt it, as everything goes by the #'s.
