my advice was what Iwould do, since its coming off in 2003,, I would make sure that the bank that had the legit repo in 1999, is not somehow related to the bank on her report showing 1996 as the charge off date, if she had a def judgment, it would be listed on her report in the public records section, if the date opened, or original loan amount, amount charge off,monthy installment amount is very similiar to her "real" repo car, isnt their a chance, they just have charge off date wrong,, and if she disputes it an investigation will take place where, these people realize, they got the wrong date, and "update" the date, and come after her? if all the a/m info is way off, as far as dates of the loan and amount, well of course I would dispute it 100%

also, does it say anything on the report as to "original creditor"?
