Today, I got an interesting reply to a validation attempt I made to NCO Financial. They did not respond at all to my initial validation letter and the second one (I got smart with this one after reading this board and sent it Certified/RR) came back to me as "return to sender". So, I sent a copy of the envelope, letter, and certified receipts to each of the CRAs as "failure to validate" and due to the fact that I used the addressed supplied by the CRA. I also sent a letter to NCO via Planet Feedback stating how disappointed I was at their service. The letter I got today came from a Compliance Officer in NY (I sent all stuff to an office in PA). It states that they are contacting the OC for validation. When it comes, they will forward everything to me. Until that time, they are placing the account on hold in their office and are requesting all CRAs to delete the entry. Any thoughts as to their response? Anything that I should do or look out for? The OC charged-off in 2000.
