no real effort, I know it from what my sister went thru, one day she went to the Atm, no money, wiped out,, shes told theres a seizure lien,, 2 days later a reg letter from the court in suffolk for discovery,,3days later, the normal mail summons from plaintiffs attorney with a date over a month before,, she got a lawyer, nothing she could do, judge wouldnt vacate, date the post office processed isnt the plaintiffs problem, they swear under oath, they put it the mail the day they wrote the summons,,,,, then researching on the Unified court system of NY, using these notorious CAs and their attorney ( I dont have to mention them we all know them, as does Buddhipps) they ALL play this game with the mail in NY,, reading the dockets, the defendants try to vacate, on no service,not proper service, etc, the mail game,, the defendant never wins,,, so I became Paranoid that someone could do it to me, and Id never know, to its to late,, I thought the "tack the summons to the last known address" in georgia was a joke, where they on purpose use an old address, was bad,,,, and CAs dont need bond/registration, but this in NY is a joke,,, you know, this may sound funny, I have some things I need to work on on my report, mainly student loans , but after when I have the time, my fathers friend Steve Englebright is our rep to the state assembly, I am going to non stop write about this normal mail story,, and I am a NY voter/resident, but live in Switzerland, ( another thing that sucks from NY, I have to pay state taxes on income abroad, the fed exempts the 1st 100grand)I am one of the chairs to the DNC dems abroad,, our biggest "Ear" in NY is rep. carolyn Maloney from NYC, our delegate here is a family member,,,, 90% of the members are from NY, ( from the UN), when we meet its always, overseas voting rights, Social security, medicare,,etc,,,, our next meeting,, I am going to bring up this Normal mail crap,, theyll probably look at me as crazy,, but hey, Its unfair, and being abused non stop, it should and must end,, for an extra $5.44 they can send it RR reciept,, tack it on in itemized judgement costs,, well thats my opinion, good nite
