Fight them with everything you have. I did and I WON!!!! Send validation letter, then cease and desist letter. Also file a compl;aint with the Attorney Generals office in Illinois ( where CAMCO IS) and your home state. the federal trade commission and I also filed a complaint with the BBB, the Illinois licensing Bureau. They tried to collect on a 12 year old debt. Threatened me at work, etc...Well I received a letter from the credit card company that this account is closed and CMACO will never bother me AGAIN, also I received letters from both AS's ofice telling me the same thing as well as a letter from CAMCO. They are the lowest form of scum on the earth. If you let them they will make your life miserable. FIGHT!!!!!!
