As part of a divorce decree my ex-wife was ordered to pay off a Sear's card which I was named as the primary and she the secondary. She paid the card off per the order, but one year after payment of the debt, made a purchase for $34 and allowed the card to go into default. A collection agency notified me a year later that she had been contacted to collect the debt and removed her name from card. She then referred the collection agency to me. I notified the police department and filed a fraud report, as well as contacted the state's attorneys in the state where the purchase was made as well as the state she resides. I further sent correspondence to the Fraud Unit, the CFO and President of Sears, as well as made a report to the Federal Trade Commission. These steps have not resulted in anything satisfactory. What should I do to end this mess?
