Apparently a collections agency has bought this 10yr old debt from Bank of America. They called last night again...They are extremely rude, and stated that since it's a new debt to them they can and will put it against my husband's credit and he "will pay". My husband told them to produce documentation to prove to him that he owes this debt, if they can he said he'd be happy to pay. All we got was a phone call, then a letter with a single amount saying it was from BofA.
