You can request the "method" of verifivation from the CRA but usually these are automated updates. I don't use "not mine" if it's yours except under certain circumstances. Do you have anything that shows the original date of delinquency? An old bill, dunning letter or old credit report will do - you can get it off with that.

The other thing to do is send those CA's a validation letter.

You can get these off, it will just take a little work.

Do everything through the mail, certified, RRR. Don't call them.
