I would use some of that money and get a lawyer to negotiate this for me, if I were in your shoes. Negotiating on your own will mot get you the best deal, and likely keep your credit screwed up for years.

Not doing anything will definitely get you sued, since they will know you have money. I don't think you can hide that money without creating a problem for yourself.

When you sued for your WC benefits, did you tell the lawyer about these debts? I would think he would have covered that in his lawsuit.
