Not Validated with CA. what happens?

Hi! good site, looking at the posts, I am wondering what happens if I ignored CA or law office notices 10 months ago on a debt that I own . Did I loose my SOL claim in court? I did not even contacted CA or law office simply ignored it. Thanks.
