I too have been getting 3 to 4 calls, sometimes more from these people.
They are rude and seem to like to threaten and harress
I had an account with Aria visa, which is Providian 2 years ago.
I never once recieved a bill for my account and i never even made a charge on it.
Suddenly I start getting phone calls last year from these people. Now in the past couple of months it has become a daily thing.
They call early in the morning about 7:50 or right at 8am.
I have told them countless times that I cannot afford to pay the amount and have asked to see my entire bill and the charges made.
They tell me that they cannot send me that info.
Also one guy threatened to have my husband's military pay check garnished if i don't make a payment arrangement with him. I hung up then. My husband isn't even listed on the account.
I told them i could only afford to give them maybe $10 amonth until August when I could then pay it off in full.
The man i talked to told me to not be sarcastic with him.
And then asked me how was I going to be able to pay it off in August and not now.
I told him that was none of his business. He then told me that it was his business as he needed to know this.
I have been called a liar and a bad person because i have not been able to pay this debt. This account has been charged off alreadt and has been for 2 years. It was charged off 3 months after I got the card because i refused to pay the extra insurance the compant added to my account wihtout my premission.
The people I talk to refuse to give me an address and will not let me talk to a supervisor.

I am thinkign about talking to a lawyer about this...
anyone else have any ideas????
