Thanks for responding. I've asked at 2 other boards, and no one has even done me the courtesy of replying with an "I don't know." I just get no responses at all!

I guess I should have mentioned I already know the SOL for lawsuits is 4 years here, that's why I'm trying to figure out the legality of the DOLA they're reporting. I know (now) that sending partial payment or promise to pay will reset the SOL date, but since I stopped the payment, does that still consitute promise to pay? If not, I'm thinking I can dispute the DOLA as inaccurate data with the CRAs. If so, do I just have to ride it out until 2/2003 and hope they don't file?

Oh, and the CRs I have are from consumerinfo.com, which, of course, I signed up for through Quicken before finding this, or the other boards that exist that recommend going directly through the CRAs. The old Experian report I have doesn't have a "due to come off" date. I have a CR that I think is a "merged" CR that shows the new DOLA. The ones I received from consumerinfo do not even have it listed! I've already sent a request for validation on a few other things through the CRAs so hopefully I'll get new CRs from them soon!
