If you have an existing Florida judgement on record, beware of "informational" or "privacy notice" inquiries. A new law, passed last Oct. changes the 20 years that judgements stay on record to 7 years renewable. HOWEVER, on existing judgements filed prior to Jan.2002,the original judgement filer must refile before Oct. 2003, with your ss #,or the judgment is no longer enforceable.
