falling SCORE followup

I can't remember if this was resolved last month, but I just recently had reports + scores pulled while arranging a mortgage. The good news was I was prepared for everyone of my entries and had documentation. The bad news was after removing 2 out of date accounts, a couple misspellings of my name and a CHARGED OFF account, my score went DOWN! [ this was with Experian ]It went down by about 26 points. Now I know the inquiry can bring it down a bit, but I should have had some score increase by removing the CO. I did learn my wife has exceptional credit - 825 - 840 on all reports!
