I think I remember your situation, but I can't find your previous posts. IMO, it's a little late for validation letters. I recall seeing someone give that advice, and I thought, that's pretty silly, this person's already been served. Show up in court and ask the judge for more time to find records on the matter. Get a continuance. Buy yourself some time. Go to the northwest justice site and see how to word a request for the CA's documents, to see if they have proof that you are the one who owes the debt. If the judge asks you if you owe this money, say you do not know at this point, you need some kind of records or documents that show whether or not you owe it. Why Chat has posted a site - I think it's northwestjustice.com that tells you how to word things in court. Linda
