Lisa, last activity is or should be, the last time ANY activity took place on the account. If you know for a fact that there has been no activity since 1998, contact the credit card company, preferably n writing, (and keep a copy) telling them to correct it. Give them a time limit, AND FOLLOW UP. The statue of limitation should start with the date of last activity.
