Equifax- what does "checked" mean?

I couple of nites ago I disputed a CA item with equifax, now I get a email,, item is now listed as acct status CHECKED and it replaced UNPAID,, what does it mean? that its already verified, then also, the status date, is now 6/2002, but the DOLA is backed up from 5/98 to 3/98.. thanks
