It's OK to send the affidavit the way Why Chat said. You already have a copy of the signature the CA has - there is no danger of them forging a signature in this particular case. You are sending them proof that they have "found" the wrong person.

At least it's not on your credit reports - yet - send the stuff ASAP. They like to extort people who are closing on a mortgage - it's an automatic payment for them. You were lucky, your validation letter really worked like it's supposed to.
