Unfortunately for you, the Cal. code counts the payments charged to your account, even after your default, as the starting date.Here is an exerpt from the Cal. code, with the pertinent phrase bracketed. I have also posted a link to the code section.
Within four years: 1. An action upon any contract, obligation or liability.......... 2.
