You should consult with a lawyer for advice. You are in a tricky situation. Your benefits from wc and any future settlement are exempt from bk OR lien, however,you will need to be careful about what you do.Once you sell your home, your homestead exemption is GONE.If you are married, and the debts are in your name alone, make sure all your accounts,assets, home, (and motorcycle) are jointly owned.The only reasonably sure way of shielding your proceeds would be to do bk 1st,then sell after a period of time, (ask a lawyer what is safe)
