Do you have anything that proves the original date? I can't recall all that was said before, where is you prvious post? (go there and then copy the URL into your message). Basically, the letter should say that this debt is past the reporting time, out of statute, and you have proof that this is the case. Then you should tell them you will sue them if they re-age this account and put it back on your credit report. However, if you don't have any proof, it would be hard to take them to court. In that case, you should take the long route - validation. It takes longer and they will fight you every step of the way. RMA is a subsidiary of Equifax, I believe. At least in my part of the country they are. Linda
