Be VERY careful about opening that can of worms. If there was a deficiency judgment filed you could still be vulnerable. If you have moved, and or changed your name, start by removing any old address from your credit report and correcting your name.Once that is done, and changed, dispute the entry as "not mine".
Repo laws vary from State to State, and in some they are not required to do much to notify co-signers,not even if a deficiecy judgement has been placed against them.
