If you are an authorized user on her accounts, NOT a co-signer, yes, you can be removed, but do it at least 60 days before you file. If you have joint accounts you wish to reaffirm, be aware the Court may not permit it, and may force you to take ch 13 instead of ch 7.If your wife is joint with YOU on any accounts, and they are included in your BK- she is still obligated for the debt, and it will certainly affect her credit.This is especially true on any account she has a record of using.
