Anything you do within 60 days of filing will cause your BK to be tossed. If you are JOINT with your husband, you cannot "have your name removed"
if you are and "authorized user" you can, but you had better allow much more time between the removal (AND NO CHARGES BY YOU) and filing. If you are filing "do-it-yourself" you will likely wind up in worse trouble than before and permenantly ruin both your credit and your husband's.BK is not designed to be a "get out of only the debts you want to get out of" program. See a GOOD BK lawyer WAY in advance of filing, take his/her advice- then file if you are legally allowed to.
